Marriage Seminar in Mexico
March 22-25 we held a Marriage Enrichment Seminar in Tapachula, Mexico. Michael and Crystal Mason and their family are the HIM missionaries serving in this town. It was an exciting weekend with many events.
On Thursday night we started with a wedding of a precious couple who are new christians. Ulyses and Ninfa had lived together for 8 years and on Thursday night the 22 of March they took a brand new step as new christians, MARRIAGE! It was exciting for Crisis Family Care, Inc. to be able to particpate in this wedding.
On Friday and Saturday we held our second Marriage Seminar in the city of Tapachula. We are thankful for the presence of God and His goodness to us during this seminar.
On Sunday morning we were honored to participate in a Wedding Service. This was an event that was a bit different. Rev. Butch Heath preached a wedding sermon and the entire service was focused on the wedding covenant. At the conclusion of the service, four couples who had never taken vows in a church came forward individually and took vows before God and witnesses to live their lives together until death separtes them. It was truly an exciting time!
The climax of the weekend was Sunday afternoon. What a joy to baptize six brand new converts. These are people who have gotten saved and also have gone through a three month discipleship course.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we went to Mexico. We could truly feel the prayers of God's people.
